For me, the representation of the human body is a sensual dialogue of expressive exploration. When I paint a portrait, a look in the shapes, in the interplay of light and shadows, for the silent expression of what might be under the skin. This collection of portraits does not follow the usual custom of portraying the face, instead I choose body fragments: feet, hand, back, belly. In each case, the fragmented body is an expressive body. Although this collection is diversified in terms of mediums and techniques, the unifying thread is that which challenges us beyond the immediately evident.
